The Open Enrollment period opens this week and closes March 16th. If you or a friend is interested in applying for a spot at Turnberry, call the office or check us out online for an application. If your home school has changed (or could change) due a District 27J Boundary Alignment change, your spot is safe at Turnberry. All families that wish to continue at Turnberry will be given an opportunity to stay by completing the Open Enrollment Process. Priority is given to those students already at Turnberry. |
Brighton Chamber of Commerce Announces the Re-launch of
"Teacher of the Month"
The Brighton Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the re-launch of their "Teacher of the Month" education recognition program. The Chamber sees value in honoring the dedication of teacher’s in the community and recognizing the great impact that their time, energy and resources has on all facets of Brighton. Each month a selection committee of business leaders will evaluate nomination forms and select one teacher who has gone above and beyond for their students. Teachers will be recognized with gift bags filled with items and gift certificates from local businesses valued up to $250.
People can find nomination forms by visiting www.brightonchamber.com and clicking on the "Teacher Appreciation" link or by clicking on the link below. Forms can also be picked up at Brighton Chamber of Commerce offices located at 1850 Egbert St, Ste 140 in Brighton.
"The Brighton Chamber of Commerce wants teachers to understand the support and gratitude that the business community has for what they do for our community," said Chamber Board Chairman Brian Lewis. The Brighton Chamber of Commerce is the principle voice of the Brighton area business community. In a spirit of cooperation and through a collective effort, our mission is to provide, maintain and enhance a favorable business and social environment for chamber members. The chamber will provide leadership, resources, programs and services intended to expand the Brighton area market base through controlled growth, and increase the economic activity by implementing the most effective use of private and public resources.
